Refurbished Holy Stone HS900 3-Axis Gimbal GPS Drones with 4K Camera, 249g FAA Compliant, 20000Ft Transmission, 30 Min Flight, Auto Return, Level-5 Wind Resistance

This is our first drone purchase. We were looking for a middle of the road one to start with and came across the HS900 by Holy Stone. It was pretty straight forward to set up the app and the drone itself and get to fly. It has a beginner mode which is nice to limit speed and distance so you can get the hang of controlling it. We had a slight issue that required us to call the company and it was a great experience. Right away, I was able to speak to an actual person who could help and resolve my issue! It does require a data card to take pictures and videos. We have not yet gotten to do that yet as we are concentrating on learning to fly it first. One additional nice feature is that the controller is hard-wired to your phone so there is no chance of dropping signal. Overall, it works well and we are happy with the purchase. Looking forward to taking some awesome photos and videos soon

This is a great drone. Videos are in 4k and crystal clear, pictures are amazing. Very easy to control, great range and fast charging. Purchased myself one and then 3 days later order one for my son, having a blast flying this little guy.

This was my first drone purchase, I’ve flown it twice and it is amazing! I was nervous at first because I’ve never flown one before, but it was so easy and impressive! My second flight was in 15 mph wind and it handled it like there was no wind at all! I was so happy I immediately bought my son a much smaller holy stone as he is 7. But he may get a camera holy stone before he’s 8! So easy and fun to fly!

Weight is low enough that registration is not required in the US. It has a 48MP (megapixel) image sensor and will record still frames at up to 36MP (see attached examples). I believe the difference is due to using the unseen pixels for image stabilization. The highest resolution stills are huge but the wide angle lens does mean that it's easy to get a lot of sky in pictures without some work. Video resolution is lower but taken from the same high resolution sensor. There are some slight annoyances, settings made in the app as I write this are not persistent so you have to setup from scratch every flight. It's so light it doesn't seem as strong as other models from the same company, but despite that it's very stable when flying even light winds. It gets hot when operated so it is probably best to keep it moving so the airflow cools it. Nevertheless, picture quality keeps impressing me.
